First gale of the spring

It was warm in early morning today. The wind strengthened suddenly, the low-pressure developed rapidly, and we remember the caution was mentioned at yesterday's weather report. We could not see the Izu peninsula and Mt. Fuji in the morning. The low-pressure that the front on the Pacific Ocean was accompanied with the low-pressure of the Sea of Japan, and it might be cool in the silence on the morning.



We sailed out on Y15. Wind swinged to the west when blow (5-6m) comes, and it changed more greatly . Strength was intense, and the wind breathed. The wind of the cold in the west entered at such time. It was about 15m/hr.


After while, we had a little trouble. The eight knot of main seat came loose and the main seat came off. The main seat between blocks have been got out from not only the block under but also the block of the center of the boom . We could not control it. Because the wind went up more and more, the delay of the moment would be loose control more. So the main was controlled by the hand on a sterne side near a reluctant boom end block, and we aimed at Wakae-jima by controlling tiller by the hand.



We thought the wind was exceed over 22m"-when returning to the clubhouse.


Yesterday's weather forecast proved right. So how about weather of tomorrow?

Middle of Winter: Feruary 2, 2008

It was truly cold becuse we were sailing during the coldest season.

The north wind was suddnly blow but we got through that.

We enjoyed a day with three members.

Live in the cold waters

The sign was not in the north wind but wind has begun to blow from yesterday evening. White-crested waves appeared and disappeared and wind blows again.

We had senoir sailers with Y15 . We decide to sail out, then wind became to blow strongly.

We had been hit with NW winds of 12 mph or more.

At the last, we rescued a Wind Surfer and decided to go back to land because of sreious cold.

Even if it is cold, we love a heavy and strong wind at here.

We have 3 new visiters today. The wind was calm in the morning. The condition of blowing was satisfactory.

On the beach by chance we see one of our members is jogging. Also many members had come today. It was good to have many people in here.

A Happy New Year!
At last, the wind that blew hard on the 30th in twilight has been calmed down on the evening of the New Year's Day. The heavy snow also gets off on the Sea of Japan side, and until the first day of spring , it Will be real cold Please visit Zaimokuza with good health. I am exciting to think what happened in year of 2008? I will support everybody of club for the bigger enjoyment. My best regards this year.
The first sailing is planned on Friday, the fourth. The winter storm seems also to pass away at the end of this week. Please join sailing whenever you have a time.

North Wind/ December 25, 2007

The north wind blew hard today and yesterday. The wind that approached the Pacific Ocean from the low-pressure. Wind (N13-15m) that was stronger than yesterday and blew hard I am sorry to cancell sailing today.

The calendar making had done. I will mail it within this year. Hope everybody has a good end of year.

The Rainy Season/ June 30, 2007

Rain that is sure to fall at night is bicker from the afternoon. It became the day of real rainy season and it was muggy.
However, the laser sailing was comfortable.
Whether it is possible to always get into the rhythm, it might be a considerably difficult thing. There seems to be no answer what you should do to get into the rhythm. It might be easy to grip the rhythm if it is possible to relax the wind.

I think that it is very important to value the relaxation comparing telling the technology.

A Speed/ June 16, 2007

Our member who failed to perform a launching ceremony for two days had succefully had a ceremony today.

High pressure system on the Japan Sea couses the rainy season, and two of the seasonal rain front devides the HP. So the wind is obedient during a day. I assume that the torrential rainsdownpour will be on the end of the rainy season in July.

Today, we enjoyed sailing with lasers and Y15s .

In the sailing, the speed feeling is the most important theme. Without a speed, a sail boat is not becoming stable.

Easy Sailing/ June 2, 2007

The voice to spill the hardness of the leaser is often heard.
Because for the person of 175 centimeters and about 75 kilos is made in the standard as for a laser full sale, it is certainly hard in the person who doesn't come up to it.

Please do not misunderstand it. Saile easily, and to make up an easy sailing, please let me help you to introducing the device, and the sensibility. There might be a very difficult thing to understand first. However, everybody may find the answer after a certin leaning.

Laser sailor Kosk was cheerful sailing today. It seems to have the wind of 8-9m which he likes. Moreover, I could see that smooth Jaibing had been done. by him. I admire him from because he is a senior and his weight is under 50K.
Everybody, please see running of Mr. Kosk closely. The hint of the answer for easy sailing will surely be found.

A Paraglider on May 27, 2007

The blowing south wind also neatly : for a moment in the morning to afternoon. Zaimokuza was calm for the Kanto championship. The Louis Vuitton cup of the preliminary contest of the America's Cup was taught to be relaid from it to Mr. Tokr by the Internet. Everybody, please a

A Paraglider was appeared in the sky in the afternoon. A big buoy and the support boat in the sea were represented.
The image from paraglider is occasionally broadcast by the feature at the TV in the morning . Is ther our Y15 on the report? We will inform you when it will show.
